The book is an epic of love. Like almost all of Nostradamus's books, the book depicts the progress of love, and is a commentary on the role of the spiritual and religious in human relationships. In the case of "Henry", the soul is the "spirit" or "spiritual power" that accompanies a living soul, which is of particular importance in this case.

Human parvovirus B19 is a small, nonenveloped DNA virus which contains a single-stranded linear molecule of DNA approximately 5.0 kb in length. The virus belongs to the family of Parvoviridae and the genus Bocavirus. Parvovirus B19 has a wide host range, including human beings and many other mammalian species, and is associated with a range of diseases. In primary infection, an individual may be infected by a single cell-associated virus which causes an acute erythematous rash, often associated with joint pains, and a febrile illness. However, many people who have been infected have subclinical or even no clinical manifestations. There is no evidence of immunosuppression in immune competent adults. Immunity is limited to the age at which primary infection took place. Because maternal infection can lead to viral replication in the fetus, infection of an unborn child is a particular concern. Vertical transmission may occur in utero, by the ingestion of infected blood or fluids, or by contact with infected tissues or fomites.
